National Conference ('10)

Request for Proposal

Presenters wishing to speak at 5th annual NSFA National Conference in Chicago on Thursday the 8th and Friday the 9th of April should complete the Request for Proposal (RFP) form below. Best presentations will include an emphasis on not only "how to" but also success stories as part of the presentation.

Conference speaker requests should focus on one of the following four categories and associated topics:

• Fund management and investment
• Board growth and development
• Board recruitment
• Audits and accounting
• IRS reporting

• Writing and implementing a marketing plan
• Great communication for the foundation
• Developing great marketing pieces
• Effective annual reports
• Finding and attracting alumni

• Planned giving basics
• Advanced planned giving
• Fundraising by the board
• Alumni fundraising
• Best events for the foundation
• Staff campaigns

• Finding programs that resonate with your community
• Traditional foundation programs
• Developing programs which support education
• Developing programs which support and link with your school district's strategic plans
